After a steep hike up the hill to the highway, I was on my way to a town called Tulliman, it was a positive day on the road with one hick up. I got to the state line or "checkpoint" and determined there was no ATM on the highway, I would need to go to a town 17km away to access funds, so....I left the cart with the police and jumped in a cab. It wasn't a very nice town and certainly wasn't use to white people coming through it. The police called a secure cab for me and it was a bit of a smuggle mission. Getting me into town, getting cash and out again with the least amount of eyes seeing me as possible. Great fun. Had my hat really low.
Ran until the town San Fransisco where I stopped for a bottle of coke and ended up eating some stew at a family home. They insisted. Amazing people.
Stayed on the floor outside a restaurant on the highway at Tuliman. Had to wait until it closed. I was tired.
Slept well. Itchy bites!!!
