After taking a planned break for the end of my first month of running, I have now decided that I will not be taking breaks for the sake of it.
as the day tick by I am becoming increasingly in tune with my body, and as I result I believe I now have the understanding of my mind and body that when I need a break I will be able to identify it.
This way of operating fits in better with what I am trying to achieve mentally and emotionally throughout the trip.
Lower milage everyday but more days on the go! Start as early as possible and be done by the time that afternoon sun is at its hottest
My break was nice, Puerto Escondido is lovely, the hostel I stayed will great. I met a few really great people from all corners of the earth.
I am not here to talk about restdays however. In this part of the world, they will l consist of plenty of eating, a couple visits to the beach and an hour or so of sitting I front of the laptop starring at various mapping programs. Namely Google maps and cycleroute.org.
